Ugh. I just love Yamapi so much, don't you?
So overall, it was a really good drama. It definitely deserved it's 10.9% rating. I must say though, I remember Yamapi saying in an interview that it's a light-hearted, happy drama, despite him playing a mortician.
I'll admit, it was funny at times, but it was rather deep. I think I have a new respect for life after watching this drama. It's a good thing I watched this, really, I've been despising life so much lately.
One thing that bothers me though, is Ono Ito, who plays the youngest daughter in the main family of this drama series. I just don't like her voice. Sorry to those that actually like her, but I find her voice really annoying. Also, her crying sucks in my opinion. I'm sure she's a nice girl, but I just can't bring myself to like her or her acting.
Now, let's talk about Yamapi and Chinen.
I don't think Yamapi's acting left that much of an impact on me like it usually does. I mean, in Nobuta wo Produce and Code Blue, it was really strong. I'm not saying it's bad, but it could be better. He's been a bit rusty after two years. It's still good though, don't get me wrong. I felt myself almost crying at some parts because of his acting and actually laughing out loud at times.
Chinen's acting has definitely gotten better over the years. Definitely a mischievous munchkin, ain't he? He's so adorable. Makes me want to squeeze him to death at some times, or just strangle him. I love his interactions with Pi, there's actually a memorable scene between the two that makes me crack up just thinking about it.
Ooh. There's another thing. The chemistry between Yamapi and Eikura Nana. I LOVE IT. UGH. I wished they explored more of the romance. I just loved it when they interacted and teased each other. And the last episode... OH GOSH. I let out a small laugh when the drama almost ended. Watch it, and you'll understand.
GYUH. THEY'RE SO CUTE TOGETHER. Well, Pi's cute in general, but gwa~ <3
